If you prefer a more relaxed pace, there is a movie theater, live theater, historic courthouse square, restaurants, unique shopping, fishing, boating and festivals for your enjoyment. The Hood County Committee on Aging (HCCOA) is responsible for programs at our local Senior Center. Area Seniors are able to visit specialists and have surgical procedures performed close to home. Lake Granbury Medical Center is a full-service hospital, expertly staffed to care for residents. They also provide additional services to retirees through its Senior Circle Chapter, a national group for people 50 years of age or better.
